Curious Guanaco
I had set up to photograph the iconic mountains of Torres del Paine in Chile on a bitterly cold morning - so cold that the moisture in the air became frozen fog. Just as I was about to take the picture, a guanaco head popped up from behind the hill, photobombing the quiet stillness of the landscape image. Soon several more guanacos followed. Rather than give up on the photo, I figured out how to incorporate the small guanaco herd into the story.
