Golden Sunrise: Autumn
I had set up to photograph what should have been a beautiful sunrise over the Clarkfork River near my home. However, the sunrise itself was a bust because there was a low bank of clouds hiding the sun. I was packing up to leave and turned to look away from the sunrise, when I was stunned to see the bottom of the cloud layer lit up by the golden glow of the sun peeking through a gap in the clouds. I quickly repositioned to capture this beautiful sight, which lasted only a couple of minutes before the golden light disappeared.
